Service Description

Multilingual children learn at a young age that they can express their ideas in more than one way. This helps their thought process and makes them more flexible, learners. Research has found that children who speak more than one language do better in school and have better memory and problem-solving skills. In this home activity we will encourage your child to play and sing in both their 1st & 2nd languages. A fun class where they will sing and translate a Portuguese children’s song, such as: “Papagaio loiro”, “Perdi o do da minha viola”, “Atirei o pau ao gato”, etc and play a memory games in Portuguese!
